Again, a lot of knowledge or 'insights are far beyond my 'education', it's more of an 'intuition'  (in this case: all the information that has 'entered and has been 'processed' during my life, but to which I don't have a clear and 'conscious' access) and 'perceiving'.

(note: personally, as a baby boomer, I often think that the hype; the glorification of youth' - and so 'being active',  ambition, competition, productivity etc.etc.- in the actual ( induced) spirit of the age is (far) overrated.

The characteristics of a lot of elderly people, their experience; their changing biological system, 'decay', 'energy' and so 'mind(set)' which to me a.o. are:  (simply 'translated'): an increased sense of perspective', getting back to essentials, 'what matters': leaving behind 'superfluous ballast' ; 'wisdom' etc.etc. ( characteristics which you see as well often in young children  when they are e.g. very ill);  I find these appealing, attractive.
But if, because of aging, there is much physical; mental suffering; then all reliable knowledge, or insights; treatments  that can relieve this, heal, 'repair 'or 'reverse', as far as the affected person wants it, becomes a necessity, in my perception)
